I Remember My Dad

Remembering my Dad prompts me to think of my Heavenly Father. I remember building several homes with my dad and driving in the stakes to mark the foundation. Job 38:4-7 says, “God laid the earth’s foundations…and marked off its dimensions…while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy.”
Everything God created was a work of art, a masterpiece. He designed a breathtakingly beautiful world and pronounced it “very good.” (Genesis 1:31) If you haven’t taken a walk this week, do so. The trees are budding and the flowers are blooming. God’s world is beautiful.
God designed each of us in minute detail (Psalm 139:13-16). He made us in His image and entrusted us to take care of His creation. God trusts us to care for the earth and all its inhabitants. It doesn’t matter what work you do. God will give you what you need to work for Him.
Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
