Meet Courtney Howell
Vice President of Operations
A native of Norfolk, Va., I moved to Richmond in 1991 where I attended St. Gertrude’s High School. I have two adult children and one grandchild. I am a lover of the water and spend a lot of time at the Chesapeake Bay. I am a member of Hope Point Church in Chesterfield, VA. I am currently in the Master’s program for Business Law at Liberty University.
Right out of high school, I started working as a teller for Bank of America. I quickly learned that I had a passion for banking and have spent more than two decades in the financial industry. Prior to joining the Foundation, I worked for Wachovia and Wells Fargo for 13 years. For the last 4 years, I worked as a compliance officer overseeing up to 22 branches. I have an extensive background in creating and implementing policy and procedure, loan processes, banking regulations, and customer service standards. During my financial career, I have held my Virginia Life and Annuities License, as well as Series 6 and 63.
