Do You Like Change?
Sometimes God is wanting to do something “new,” and we are stuck in the “old.” At times it’s hard to let go of what’s familiar. It’s easier to stay “comfortable,” to keep doing what we’ve always done. When something new comes along it often throws us for a loop. If you happen to like change – “new” is mostly exciting. For those who don’t like change – “new” is mostly stressful.

All kinds of things happen to us every day. People move, decisions are made, many change jobs, kids grow up. We all at one time or another go through tough struggles. Sometimes we may feel like life is not fair. We all need to be reminded that God may not be finished with us and that He may have something different in store for our future.

Prayer – Father, we thank you so much that you sent your only Son to come and give us direction and show us that the best is yet to come. Teach us what you mean when your Word says, “I am doing a new thing!” Amen.
Isaiah 43:18-19 – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
