How Should We Spend Our Money?

The wisest investment we can make is to spend our time, our money and ourselves on people who may never be able to pay us back, especially when it opens doors to them to know Jesus. This is not the way to make your bank account look better – it’s ludicrous by the world’s standards of investing, but in God’s economy, when you spend on others, He can spend on you.
When we get to heaven, we will cast our crowns at Jesus’ feet. Our crowns will be the lives we touched with His love, and the souls that are there because we reached out to them in Jesus’ name. I want to be like Bob Langley and invest in people who need help and need someone to listen to them. I want my church to thrive, so I will tithe to the church. I will also go out on the streets and help those that come past me. I want to spend myself on people I see every day who might miss out on heaven unless I care enough to give, love and share.
I John 3:17 — “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?”
