Take a look at your paystubs!

As I talk about and teach stewardship, I am constantly reminded that God has given us so much. We are free to worship as we wish. We have homes and cars and money to keep them cool or warm. We eat good food and have money to celebrate and vacation with our friends and family.
I challenge you to an experiment. Take your check stubs from the last five years, and take a look at where you spent your money. In today’s world, you will have to take your credit card statement. Are you tithing to the church? Are you helping those around you? What have you been doing with your money? This will tell you a lot about yourself. In fact, I’ll bet you could write a pretty interesting autobiography about yourself.
Take a look at where and how you spend your money. It can be an experiment that can change your life!
