Meet Courtney Howell 

Operations and Customer Service Manager

A native of Norfolk, VA, I moved to Richmond in 1991 where I attended St. Gertrude’s High school.  I have two children, 18 and 21.  I am a lover of the water and spend a lot of time at the Chesapeake Bay.  I am a member of Hope Point Church in Chesterfield, VA.  I am currently in the Master’s program for Business Law at Liberty University.    

Right out of high school, I started working as a teller for Bank of America.  I quickly learned that I had a passion for Banking.  I have spent the last 22 years in the Financial Industry.  Prior to joining the Foundation, I was with Wachovia and Wells Fargo for the last 13 years.  For the last 4 years, I worked as a Compliance Officer overseeing up to 22 branches.  I have an extensive background in creating and implementing Policy and Procedure, Loan Processes, Banking Regulations, and Customer Service.  During my financial career, I have held my Virginia Life and Annuities License, as well as Series 6 and 63.
